These terms govern your use of FengShuiIQ.com and the ProperQi™ Score (together, the "Service"), run by Feng Shui IQ Inc. ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What the Service is
The Service generates a heuristic ProperQi™ Score for a U.S. address using public map, elevation, parcel, and hydrography data. It's an informational tool meant to give you one more input into a decision -- not a substitute for a professional Feng Shui consultation, a real estate appraisal, a property inspection, or legal or financial advice. Map data can be incomplete or wrong, and Feng Shui itself involves judgment calls a heuristic can't fully capture. Don't rely on a ProperQi™ Score as the sole basis for a purchase, sale, or other major decision.
Accounts
Basic address scoring never requires an account. Creating a My Addresses account (via a one-time magic-link email, no password) lets you save and compare addresses (up to 2 free, more once you've unlocked a report) and keep any paid unlocks tied to your email rather than a single browser. You're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure -- it's how you sign back in.
Purchases
The Expanded ProperQi™ Score is a one-time, $4.99 unlock for one specific address, processed by Stripe. The Floor Plan ProperQi™ Score ($29) and ProperQi™ Match ($49, see the next section for its specific terms) are also one-time Stripe purchases. Prices are subject to change for future purchases. Expanded and Floor Plan unlock digital content instantly upon payment, so those purchases are generally final -- but if something went wrong (a failed unlock, a duplicate charge, a genuine mistake), email contact@fengshuiiq.com and we'll make it right.
ProperQi™ Match credits & refunds
ProperQi™ Match is sold as credits, not a per-address charge: $49 for your first address, $69 if you buy two together, and $25 for each additional address in that same purchase. Once you've bought your first Match credit, every purchase after that -- any quantity, any time -- is a flat $25 per address. A credit is address-agnostic until you redeem it -- buy now, spend it on any address later. Credits never expire.
An unredeemed credit, or a redeemed credit whose report you haven't generated or viewed yet, is refundable -- email contact@fengshuiiq.com. Once you've viewed a report, that credit's purchase is final; we don't offer refunds after viewing except by request, reviewed case by case at our discretion. We keep a record of when a report was first viewed to support that review.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Scrape, systematically query, or resell ProperQi™ Scores or the underlying data at scale
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Misrepresent a ProperQi™ Score as a professional Feng Shui, real estate, or legal opinion
Intellectual property
"Feng Shui IQ," "ProperQi," and associated logos are our trademarks. The Service's design, text, and underlying software are our property or licensed to us. Map and geospatial data displayed remains the property of its respective providers (OpenStreetMap contributors, Mapbox, USGS, Regrid, Google), used under their terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee a ProperQi™ Score reflects every real-world condition at an address, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Feng Shui IQ Inc. won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any.
Termination
You can stop using the Service, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the update.
